Never hired the Camp before - start here

The Camp is a unique site where the clock is often turned back, usually to the 1940s but not always.  Built as a searchlight battery unit in 1939, the Camp is situated on the outskirts of Ramsey and holds events all year round, most famously in August when the 30 acre site attracts thousands of visitors to the Ramsey 1940s Weekend. But there's far more to the Camp.  The grounds, NAAFI, parade of shops and Drill Hall are all maintained and renovated by a band of dedicated volunteers and are open for hire all year round to private, community and commercial parties.

The Camp is a secluded site set in 10 acres of grassland.  It has 5 buildings, each being restored sympathetically to maintain their 1940s features.  The whole site is available for both corporate and private hire.  Parts of the site can be hired, and the buildings can be hired individually too.  Prices can be based on hourly, daily or weekly rates.

We are keen to encourage community use of The Camp.
