Feel free to join in if you know the words - he's a luvly boy!

Natasha Harper "The Nightingale of the North"

Has been entertaining on the 1940s scene for 9 years.

She travels all around the Uk and Europe including The Netherlands for their annual liberation celebrations.

Natasha takes you back to the days of the Golden Era of music from the 1920s, 30s and 40s.

She performs much loved hits from the war years including some great sing along songs to get your feet tapping as well as some of the great Jazz and swing tracks to surely get you up dancing.

Introducing the George Formby Experience. Great Britain's top lookalike entertainer, bringing back the legendary George Formby back into our hearts. ''Resemblance to the great man himself is just so uncanny in every way. Mr.Formby must have had a secret lovechild that we were unaware of'', so says the President of the GFS - and he's right. Paul makes a welcome return to Ramsey.

Presenting Sticky Wicket and his Swing Orchestra

Sticky and his Swing Orchestra are always a huge hit wherever they play, 1940s festivals, jazz festivals, clubs and concert halls in the UK and abroad. We are really excited to welcome them back to the Ramsey 1940s Weekend Big Dance.

The orchestra debuted at London’s 100 Club in 2000 and have appeared on radio and TV including: BBC2’s ‘We’ll Meet Again’ and Radio 2’s ‘Swingtime’, they have also appeared at many prestigious venues and events including Althorp House for the Spencer family, Blenheim Palace, The Savoy Ball in London and most of the big 1940’s events including being regular performers at the Twinwoods Festival.

Licenced bar and. new for this year, a tea bar for those not drinking alcohol.

The Saturday Night Dance is just one of the Show highlights. Entry is by ticket only.

Yes, he's back. Adam Hoffman joins us once more. All round entertainer but for you he'll be belting out all your favourite songs from the 40's. Look out for cheeky comments, snazzy dance steps and maybe even the odd magic trick. Adam is equally at home performing to backing tracks or with live bands and orchestras.

Major Swing and Kitty supply spiffing dance music for vintage or themed events across the country. Their music spans from the 1920s through to the late forties, incorporating the American Swing era as well as the golden age of the British Dance Bands. They currently entertain at many 40s events throughout the country and we are pleased to welcome them back to the Ramsey 1940s Weekend. Tim and Kitty will also be hosting the Tea Dance in the Big Top on Sunday afternoon so don't forget your dancing shoes.

Hoc & Mark discovered a love of Lindy in the early 1990s after a brief affair with Jive to Gold standard. They were soon spending every free weekend in London at workshops and lessons and travelling to dance camps around the country. At Ramsey there's every chance they could teach you the social Foxtrot, like your grandparents would have danced, or some forgotten dancehall crazes of the period and the still remembered Lambeth Walk? Make sure you join in one of their free sessions throughout the day in the Big Top.
