Ian makes a welcome return to Ramsey to give us all a right old earful of 40's songs sung in his own Cockney style. Equally at home on the stage or in the open Rosie (to friends and fans alike) will belt out all the old time favourites and treat you to the spoons and washboard too if you're lucky. Feel free to join in if you know the words - he's a luvly boy!

The Polka Dot Dolls are a vocal harmony trio who capture the romance and glamour of a bygone era. The London based trio entertain audiences with their slick vocal arrangments and nostalgic styling. The Dolls are also lovers of Lindy Hop, and like nothing more than getting their crowds jumpin' and jivin'. They have performed in perfect harmony at many prestigious and high profile events including: 10 Downing Street, Jamie Oliver's 'Big Feastival' and 'Swing on the Beach' in Pescara, Italy.

Introducing P.E.Casper esquire Great Britain's top lookalike entertainer, bringing back the legendary George Formby back into our hearts. ''Resemblance to the great man himself is just so uncanny in every way. Mr.Formby must have had a secret lovechild that we were unaware of'', so says the President of the GFS - and he's right. Paul makes a welcome return to Ramsey.

Saturday Night Dance

Video from YouTube

Enjoy the world famous Memphis Belle Swing Orchestra, formed in 1989.

Although the orchestra play a wide selection of favourites, they provide a nice balance between the Glenn Miller hits and the popular hits of Tommy Dorsey, Harry James, Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw and of course, Harry Connick Jr.

Support from Cambs and Beds Lindy Experience and Tim Handley aka Major Swing.

The Saturday Night Dance is just one of the Show highlights. Entry is by ticket only.

Yes, he's back. Adam Hoffman joins us once more. All round entertainer but for you he'll be belting out all your favourite songs from the 40's. Look out for cheeky comments, snazzy dance steps and maybe even the odd magic trick. Adam is equally at home performing to backing tracks or with live bands and orchestras.

Major Swing and Kitty supply spiffing dance music for vintage or themed events across the country. Their music spans from the 1920s through to the late forties, incorporating the American Swing era as well as the golden age of the British Dance Bands. They currently entertain at many 40s events throughout the country and we are pleased to welcome them back to the Ramsey 1940s Weekend. Tim and Kitty will also be hosting the Tea Dance in the Big Top on Sunday afternoon so don't forget your dancing shoes.

Hoc & Mark discovered a love of Lindy in the early 1990s after a brief affair with Jive to Gold standard. They were soon spending every free weekend in London at workshops and lessons and travelling to dance camps around the country. At Ramsey there's every chance they could teach you the social Foxtrot, like your grandparents would have danced, or some forgotten dancehall crazes of the period and the still remembered Lambeth Walk? Make sure you join in one of their free sessions throughout the day in the Big Top.
